Nick Cannon new dancehall movie "King of the Dancehall" was premiered on August 2nd on YouTube Red and the reviews have been cracking.

Cannon revealed that he wanted to premiere the film around the time of Jamaica's Independence Day celebration and he did just that because at present there is a buzz around the movie inside the dancehall space. Kreesha Turner, who fabricated her interim debut in the film, sabbatum down with Nick Cannon for an interview on Hot 97's Ebro in the Morn where she opened up about her thoughts on the highly anticipated film.

"I have to say that there was a moment when I got teary eyed because I was then proud of the images that were captured like the edge but the beauty of Kingston and even the trip the light fantastic civilization," Turner said. "Then many people heard about dancehall culture but they don't know about the sub civilisation of dancehall dancing. Nosotros have our dance celebrities and there is just such a surge in this vibrant community that the globe doesn't even realize how it impact the give-and-take. To Me I am a little bias, Jamaica is 1 of the almost influencial nations in the world musically."
